Nintendo's Second September Direct Floods Switch 2 With Ports, But Skips Duskbloods Date and Mario
A day after its Zelda 40th anniversary showcase, Nintendo held a roughly 45-minute Direct focused on Switch 2 games arriving this winter and beyond. The show leaned heavily on ports and remasters, delivered one major new game reveal in 2D side-scroller Metroid Ravenous, and closed with a new 3D Kirby title — while leaving out a release date for FromSoftware's The Duskbloods and any new 3D Mario reveal.
