Auroch Digital confirmed it began a redundancy consultation process affecting around a quarter of its roles, according to statements shared on LinkedIn and social media. The studio attributed the decision to ongoing industry challenges, stating these conditions have impacted developers beyond its own operations.
The company emphasized its commitment to maintaining post-launch support for titles like Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun II while seeking industry partners to assist affected employees. Auroch Digital noted it employs 51-200 staff and was acquired by Sumo Group for $8.3m in 2021.
