A Documentary About BioWare's Final Years Is Coming Next Year
Following BioWare's shock closure, a new documentary capturing its final moments is coming next year
BioWare are gone, but at least you'll be able to watch their final days in a documentary next year and oh wait that's really sad actually
The documentary, produced by Shane Fennessey and Adam Scorgie, will cover BioWare's history from its 1995 founding to its 2026 closure by Electronic Arts, with filming beginning two years prior to the shutdown.
It will include interviews with BioWare founders, developers, and industry figures like Geoff Keighley, with a planned 2027 release. The project was initially intended as a celebration but now serves as a posthumous tribute to the studio.
