Ubisoft released Update 1.8.0 for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, introducing New Game Plus mode which allows players to retain progress after completing the Holy Day Quest in Hamtunscire. The update increases Divine gear upgrade limits from 13 to 27 and adds Mithril as a new resource for upgrades.
The Rune Forge received updates including over 300 engravable runes and a Superior tier for rune upgrades. Players can now engrave perks from DLCs and the Helix Store, with the final rune upgrade requiring Mithril instead of silver.
