Polygon published a set of guides on Aug. 3, 2026, walking players through several of Beast of Reincarnation's collectible systems. The guides describe facility modules as rare materials needed to upgrade the incubator and grow chamber aboard the cleanse walker, Bauera, which is managed by a character named Kagura. According to the guide, these modules are usually found on top of tall bipedal golems or old cleanse walkers across the Ogouchi Buffer Zone, Ancient Civilization Zone, The Great Wall Terraces, and Pilgrim's Zone, with some locations in the Ancient Civilization Zone locked behind main-quest progress.
A separate guide covers manuals, which unlock crafting recipes for consumable items such as arrows and potions used by the character Emma. Manuals can either be found in the zones — sometimes guarded by elite enemies — or purchased from wandering merchants or an NPC named Brad, with prices listed in an in-game currency called amber ranging from 840 to 5,850 depending on the item and zone.
Two other guides detail collectibles tied to the cleanse walker's attributes. Electronic brains, described as yellow skull-shaped items, raise the Calculations attribute, which unlocks cooking recipes and grow research; they are found in the Ogouchi Buffer Zone, Ancient Civilization Zone, The Great Wall Terraces, Pilgrim's Zone, and Matsukawa. Generator devices, blue skull-shaped items, raise the Power attribute, unlocking sword, incubator, and grow chamber upgrades, and are found across the same zones plus Matsukawa. Both guides recommend unlocking a companion dog's 'Detect Hidden Item' skill to locate hidden versions of these collectibles.
A guide on armor lists a progression of body armor sets found from the Ogouchi Buffer Zone through the Giant Tree Zone, noting that the game has only one armor slot. Each set carries stats for defense, elemental resistance, spirit stone slots, and an 'enemy awareness' rating, with players starting in a Light Gambeson before finding upgrades such as the Chain Mail, Thick Cuirass, and eventually the Amber Breastplate.
A separate shrine guide identifies at least 40 dragon vein shrine locations across the Ancient Civilization Zone, The Great Wall Terraces, Pilgrim's Zone, and Matsukawa Zone; the first zone, Ogouchi Buffer Zone, does not appear to contain any. Interacting with shrines awards a crafting ingredient called life fruit and grants additional stimpack capacity at milestones of 10, 20, 30, and 40 shrines found, up to a maximum of eight stimpacks. Finally, a guide to the 'Origin of the Ringing' quest in the Pilgrim's Zone explains a fire puzzle requiring players to read a document for a clue, then light three braziers in the order Sun, Earth, and Moon before ringing a large bell to open the path to that zone's Nushi lair.
