Microsoft has begun rolling out its redesigned XBOX PC app to insiders, with the company reporting up to 60% faster launch times and optimized navigation, according to internal testing. The update includes performance improvements for Home, Store, and Game Pass pages, which load up to 50% faster, while in-app windows open up to 65% faster, as stated by the publisher.

The redesigned app features a cleaner interface with updated game cards, improved library management, and integrated social features for friends' activity and conversations. Microsoft also highlighted a unified search function covering games, installed titles, and add-ons, alongside a revamped XBOX Cloud Gaming web experience with enhanced filtering and accessibility options.

The update, initially available to Xbox Insiders, includes a desktop-optimized layout for cloud gaming and five high-contrast accessibility options. Microsoft emphasized that performance results may vary based on hardware and connectivity, with the redesign also extending to Xbox cloud gaming apps for TVs and VR headsets.
