Lenovo has revealed full specifications for the Yoga 9n 2-in-1, a 16-inch convertible laptop built around Nvidia's RTX Spark chip, according to Tom's Guide and Tom's Hardware. Tom's Guide reports the device was shown at IFA 2026, while Tom's Hardware notes it arrives as a companion to the Yoga Pro 9n, a 15-inch clamshell previously announced at Computex. The Yoga 9n 2-in-1 is positioned by Lenovo as a creativity-focused machine, in contrast to the more workstation-oriented Yoga Pro 9n.
Both sources confirm the Yoga 9n 2-in-1 uses an Nvidia RTX Spark chip combining a Grace CPU with up to 20 cores and a Blackwell RTX GPU with up to 6,144 cores, paired with up to 64GB of unified LPDDR5X-9400 memory. Storage tops out at 2TB via a PCIe Gen 4 QLC M.2 2242 SSD, which Tom's Hardware notes is lower-end than the Gen 5 SSD option available on the Yoga Pro 9n. The 2-in-1's memory ceiling of 64GB is also lower than the Yoga Pro 9n's 128GB maximum. Neither source has a confirmed TDP for the 2-in-1's chip, though Tom's Hardware notes the Yoga Pro 9n's 15-inch model is rated up to 80W.
The convertible features a 16-inch PureSight Pro OLED display at 2880 x 1800 resolution with a 30-120Hz variable refresh rate and 1,100 nits peak HDR brightness, per Tom's Hardware. Tom's Guide describes the screen as sharp and vivid in hands-on impressions. The laptop has a 360-degree hinge enabling Laptop, Tablet, Tent, Stand, and Canvas modes, with the Canvas mode slightly angled to ease writing and drawing. Tom's Guide measured the device at 14.17 x 9.57 x 0.69 inches and 4.28 pounds, noting the aluminum frame feels sturdy but that the size and weight could make tablet use cumbersome.
A large touchpad, which Lenovo calls the Force Pad, supports drawing and writing with the Yoga Pen Gen 2 stylus; Tom's Guide found it smooth and responsive during hands-on testing. The keyboard includes a full number pad with membrane keys offering short travel. Audio comes from a six-speaker Dolby Atmos system with two tweeters built into a rotating soundbar in the hinge—a feature Tom's Hardware notes Lenovo had stopped using in past models—plus a pair of woofers, though Tom's Guide was not able to test the speakers directly. Ports include HDMI 2.1, two USB-A, two USB-C, a headphone jack, and an SD card slot, alongside Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. Tom's Hardware lists battery capacity at 99.9 WHr and a 9.2-megapixel MIPI camera with IR support.
On the AI and performance front, both outlets note that the RTX Spark chip integrates a custom CPU, GPU, and unified memory on a single package for faster internal data sharing, with Tom's Guide adding that this design is expected to enable all-day battery life. Nvidia is working with Microsoft to make Windows more proactive using the chip, according to Tom's Guide. Lenovo is touting support for creative and AI tools including Adobe Premiere Pro and ComfyUI, along with local models such as FLUX and LTX, per Tom's Hardware. Tom's Guide was not able to test the RTX Spark chip's real-world performance and says lab testing is still pending.
Pricing and a firm release date for the Yoga 9n 2-in-1 have not been disclosed. Tom's Hardware reports Lenovo says pricing will be announced at launch, while noting Nvidia has previously said RTX Spark-based systems would arrive this fall. Tom's Guide similarly reports no pricing is available yet but says the convertible is worth watching based on its early hands-on impression.
