HBO is developing a TV series focused on the Batman villain Poison Ivy, with Lauren LeFranc in talks to produce the project, according to Deadline. The series, which comes from Warner Bros. and DC Comics, is separate from Matt Reeves’ Batman Universe and had been on hold due to the Paramount and Warner Bros. merger.

No writers or casting decisions have been announced for the series, which would expand on DC Comics’ Poison Ivy character. The project would not be part of Reeves’ Batman Universe but could align with James Gunn’s DC franchise, which includes titles like "Clayface" and "Lanterns."
