Community developers have gotten NVIDIA's own DLSS Multi Frame Generation code running on RTX 40, RTX 30, and even RTX 20 series GPUs, technology NVIDIA officially limits to newer hardware. A separate modding effort is also experimenting with a hybrid FP8/NVFP4 version of DLSS 5 on RTX 50 GPUs, though gains there remain small.
