The chip features a 16-core, 32-thread Zen 5 CPU design and includes a dedicated NPU rated at 55 TOPS in INT8, contributing to a total system AI performance of up to 131 TOPS. Acemagic presented a mini-workstation housed in a compact two-liter chassis measuring 158.5 x 158.5 x 81.5 mm. Its version of the chip is paired with Radeon 8065S integrated graphics, and the CPU can boost up to 5.2 GHz. Storage is handled via a single M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe slot supporting drives up to 4 TB. Minisforum unveiled its own flagship mini PC, the MS-S1 MAX-P495, successor to a model that used the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 395. According to Wccftech, the new Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 raises AI performance from 126 TOPS to up to 131 TOPS. The MS-S1 MAX-P495 supports up to 192 GB of unified LPDDR5X memory and offers dual M.2 storage slots (PCIe 4.0 x4 plus PCIe 4.0 x1) supporting up to 16 TB with RAID 0/1, along with a dedicated PCIe x16 slot capped at PCIe 4.0 x4 for expansion cards. Connectivity includes dual USB4 ports with 40 Gbps bandwidth, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, additional USB Type-A/C ports, and dual 10G LAN ports. Alongside the mini-workstation, Minisforum introduced the AI Agent NAS N5 MAX-P495, an upgrade to its flagship NAS line that comes pre-installed with OpenClaw. The N5 MAX-P495 can hold up to 200 TB of local storage and uses the same Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 APU, delivering up to 131 TOPS of AI performance with up to 192 GB of memory. Minisforum describes it as designed to serve as a centralized backend for data, models, knowledge, and long-running AI workloads, supporting agents such as OpenClaw and Hermes Agent, RAG knowledge bases, embeddings, and databases while keeping data local for privacy and reduced latency.
Pricing and availability details remain limited. Tom's Hardware states that no pricing or availability has been announced for the Minisforum devices, while Wccftech reports a teaser suggesting the MS-S1 MAX-P495 could carry a price of $7,000 or more once it reaches retail.
