Jackery announced two new backup power products at IFA Berlin 2026, expanding its lineup of off-grid batteries and home backup systems. The first is the FridgeGuard, a slim uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed specifically to keep a home refrigerator running during a blackout, alongside the global release of the device. The second is the Explorer 2000Plus V2, a Red Cross Edition of the company's 2,048 Wh portable power station co-designed with the American Red Cross.
The FridgeGuard measures just 67 mm thick, which Jackery says makes it the world's thinnest smart fridge backup. It has a nominal output of 800 W with peak output up to 1,600 W, and the company says it can keep a refrigerator running for up to 15 hours. Its base capacity is 1,024 Wh, expandable to 2,048 Wh with an add-on module. Jackery positions the FridgeGuard as a backup for an entire kitchen rather than just a fridge, claiming it can power up to 18 pots of coffee and toast 17 breakfasts. Pricing starts at $799 in the US, though international pricing has not yet been announced.
The Explorer 2000Plus V2 Red Cross Edition builds on Jackery's existing 2,048 Wh external battery line. It can output up to 2,400 W and is expandable with additional battery packs to a total capacity of up to 12 kWh. The unit includes a Storm Warning System that tracks local weather conditions and automatically charges the battery to full capacity when a storm is detected, along with an Emergency Power mode that lets users reserve a portion of the battery's capacity for emergency use.
Jackery also says the Explorer 2000Plus V2 operates at under 30 dB and can fully charge in as little as 1.5 hours under normal conditions. When Emergency Power mode is activated, charging speed is boosted for up to 80 minutes. The company states the new version is 34% lighter than its predecessor.
The Explorer 2000Plus V2 is expected to launch in the US later in 2026, though pricing for that product has not yet been revealed.
