Reports: PlayStation Dropped Kojima's Physint Over Budget, Schedule and Exclusivity Concerns
New reporting from Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, cited by TechPowerUp and Wccftech, says PlayStation's cancellation of Hideo Kojima's Physint stemmed from missed deadlines, ballooning costs, underwhelming Death Stranding sales, and Sony's reluctance to fund a game without permanent exclusivity. Kojima Productions has since partnered with Xbox to continue the project.
