Apple unveiled the HomeView smart home hub, fourth-generation Apple TV 4K, and HomePod mini 2 during a 'Welcome Home' event on October 13, 2026. The company also introduced the Apple Home Collection, a lineup of smart home devices developed with LG and Schneider Electric, including cameras, a door lock, thermostats, and sensors.
HomeView, available in tabletop and wall-mounted models, features a 7-inch Liquid Retina display, Spatial Audio, and Siri AI integration. It supports multiroom audio, hands-free timers for recipes, and personalized experiences for up to six users. The device launches on November 13 at $299, with the tabletop model offering four colors and the wall-mounted model offering two.
The fourth-generation Apple TV 4K includes three far-field microphones for hands-free Siri control, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ playback. It supports multiroom audio with HomePod mini 2 speakers and launches on November 13 at $299. The new Siri Remote, compatible with Apple TV models since 2015, includes Find My app support and Precision Finding for locating the remote.
The HomePod mini 2, available in green, pink, blue, midnight, and white, features Sound Glow, multiroom audio, and Siri AI (via a future software update). It launches on October 30 at $149. Apple's Apple Home Collection devices, including LG's cameras and Schneider's thermostats, will be available in December and early 2027, with some requiring a HomeView or Apple TV hub for full functionality.
